Strength in Support

My doula practice is based in Couesmes-Vauce, Pays de La Loire, France. I am able to offer clients emotional, practical and physical support to enhance their individual experiences.
This calling has developed from a lifetime of being nurtured and nurturing.
I am a mother of five, step mother of two and grandmother currently of seventeen.
I was a registered nurse for many years and a heathcare assistant previous to that. I was also a carer to both my mother and father before they passed away. I have had experience in the fields of elderly care, mental health, demensia, counseling, nutrition, post-operative care, breast-feeding support and birth partnering.
I have been involved with teaching and accessing during my career and am passionate about empathy, advocacy and empowerment.
I can promise to support you with kind, evidence- based care, ensuring you are informed throughout and enabling all concerned to design the best care around your needs.
